IDTTYS strives to connect cancer patients with each other and survivors world-wide.

One of the most commonly asked questions in psychological surveys is:

“What is your biggest fear?”

The most common answer is:

“Dying alone.”

This is something that cancer patients must deal with on a daily basis.

Their fear is not only justified, it’s their constant reality.  This is why IDTTYS has started its “Laptop Fund”.  We are striving to connect cancer patients with each other and survivors world-wide—in this modern age of social networking and world wide connectivity, no one should have to be alone.  We believe that helping each cancer patient get online will help them overcome this fear and help to bring some joy into their lives.

Many cancer patients are hospital-bound and their only contact with the outside world is limited interactions with the nurses and doctors who tend to them and those close friends and family who are able to visit them.  We at IDTTYS are trying to help them connect to their friends and family no matter where they are or what time it is.  It is the unfortunate reality that people cannot be there for their loved ones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no matter how much they may want to.

IDTTYS is asking for your help to connect cancer patients to the world.

After all, how often can you help a person to overcome their greatest fear?

IDTTYS is nonprofit and relies on your individual donations to provide laptop computers, information and services to cancer patients. We welcome all levels of donation, whether it’s a one-time gift, a monthly donation or the establishment of a matching gifts program.

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Please check with your employer to see if it offers a matching gift program that will match your gift to IDTTYS.

The full amount of your donation is tax-deductible.
